Pink is a colour that people who know me well would not associate
me to it.
It is a colour I avoid and dislike to a certain extend. Never in
my wildest dream would I imagine myself to be in a pink gown.
The reason why I am convinced to put on this pink gown and curate this
set of visuals with My Dream Wedding is because I left aside my ego and gave in
to opinions of the team from My Dream Wedding and dearest Daryl (whom shot
these photos). The moment I tried on this gown, it was a straight yes from
everyone. Sometimes I feel it is okay to let go and try things that you never
want to. The results might surprise you!
Same concept applies to picking a suitable gown. Although we all
have personal preference of colour and styles but I feel all brides should put
aside all stubbornness and sometimes take in other’s opinion. Especially when
it is a straight YES! Least try before rejecting. I was really glad I managed
to convince myself with this gown. Honestly it is a really pretty piece. Love the
back details so much and I would have to thank My Dream Wedding for the
opportunity to be in pink, I do not know when will I ever choose pink again but
least now I have some visual memories to look back on.
I believe many brides-to-be already had an ideal gown/style in
their mind even before entering a bridal parlor to pick the perfect one. Just
one advise and something to note, value opinions, it won’t hurt!
