Have been staying on track with my blog post lately (especially on Sunday), I think I still prefer blog over Instagram. Feels more personal and I'd like to think that I'm mostly reaching out to people who truly enjoy my content and that's why you guys bother to click on my link and are here reading. I prefer to leave this out on my day routine, as I try to minimise the amount of products I put on before make up for a lighter feel. Sometimes, I'll apply this in the day to areas that are prone to flaking, especially the towards the corners of my lips.
HEYA~ MUJI IN THE HOUSE!!!
I'm a great fan of Muji and I adore everything they have, from household to apparels, stationery, food etc. I'm especially obsessed with their storage systems and items! But today I'm here to talk about their Skincare. To be honest, I shop at Muji a lot and I've seen these beautifully packaged minimal bottles of skincare but it never came across to me that I would try them.
Last month, I got introduce to the Sensitive Skin care range and was invited to attend a workshop hosted by Hiroko Miyao at the Japanese Creative Centre. It is no surprise that the Japanese always pays attention to the tiniest detail which makes a world of difference for consumers! Products being products are subjective to a large extend as there are many factors to consider and match before you could give a verdict. My experience so far with this range is good in a sense that it is able to maintain my skin health and moisture and did not cause any problems like break outs or blemishes. It's a very peaceful switch from my existing products.
What draws my attention most are the details, there are a range of replaceable heads designed for consumers preferences and needs. I love the Spray Head Trigger Type most and choose to use it with the Toning Water, I feel that with the disposal of fine tiny bits of toning water, it makes the whole experience fresher and cleaner in a sense that it is not applied directly with my hands.
Action speaks louder than words, so I have prepared a short Video to introduce the range of products from this series. There are a couple more products in this entire range but the ones that I have been using are the basics.

Sunday Updates! This week has been real hectic! I was juggling between meeting clients, shooting, also my new studio that is currently under renovation and busy working on a new project for @storeunda which will probably be ready only later this year.
The new project will involve more manpower and people who have that set of skills, as it requires more knowledge and experience, beyond my ability to do so. It is more than sewing totes and crafting leather. So earlier this week, I made a really impromptu work trip to see and learn what's possible to venture into and have a better understanding of the feasibility to my plans. There's so much more to learn and I hope I'll be able to pick it up fast enough! I am really excited that the plans that I have made for my brand since I have graduated 2 years ago is slowly coming through. I shall reveal more in time to come! Lovely Sunday everyone :)
Sunday always seems to be a happy day, at least for myself! I'm guessing it's because we could have time with our family, love ones and spent the entire day perhaps just reading a book or watching your favourite drama without having to worry about time. It's also a good day to just sleep in and wake up according to your body's will and not an alarm. There could be so many reasons, what's yours?
My Sunday was spent getting @storeunda new studio sorted out for renovation. I really can't wait to do up the new space! This time round I will definitely carry out the plans I have for UNDA , no more holding back and no more procrastination.
On top of that, I'm bursting with excitement to announce that I'll be heading to Europe in a month's time with non other than FASHMOB!!!!!
To be honest, I never thought I would be heading to that part of the world so soon, excited and uncertain at the same time. I'm not even sure why am I uncertain.

A few months back, through a friend, I had the opportunity to visit and shoot at a beautiful place owned by an artist that has an obsession over anything botanical. Her yard was filled with greens and was composite in such a balance way, sizes, shades and variety. It is a garden that you would fall in love at first sight. With abundance of sunlight coming through the garden and house, it creates an ambience with such positive vibes, to me it is almost like a shelter or a safe house away from the world.
A person with a passion and has the courage to follow their guts are people whom I admire and respect. When my shoot was over, I stayed on and chatted the entire noon away with Lucinda and her partner. It was such rare opportunity to meet someone like her, there was so much common topics and it was nothing but a pleasure to be able to converse and share our thoughts that freely.
Lucinda is a lady that exudes so much passion and positivity, I'm pretty sure people who have seen or met her would have agreed. Watching her paint by the window is such a beautiful sight and simply nostalgic. It reminds me of the days where I would spend all my time in my studio in school, meticulously completing my drawings. I can't help but feel a kind of sadness that I do not have the discipline to continue practicing art like I thought I would.
Sometimes in life when you take a different route, you would discover joy in other ways. You might doubt your decisions and even regret at times but ultimately when you make a call, stick through it no matter how tough it may be. I always believe in perseverance.
Lucinda is definitely one of those who persevered and got to where she is today. She started @within.sg, a creative consultancy and nature-inspired arts education company to share her knowledge on botanical-inspired topics. Personally, I feel that it is always good to pick up something new or cultivate a passion, it adds quality to our sometimes mundane life.
